Another busy week, and some more companies donating their products

This week has been rather a productive one for us, with a lot to be grateful for!
At the beginning of this week, I sent a number of emails to various companies requesting assistance with some vehicle livery - specifically Lina Medical Services logos.

A company called Polysigns based in Bristol got back to us, and were interested in helping. They will be providing our logos for the vehicle free of charge - a saving of £100+

In addition, RVG based in Weston Super Mare produce 'batternburg' livery for emergency service vehicles. They have expressed an interest in helping, and are willing to provide us with the livery in custom sizes for the vehicle we choose. This also amounts to a saving of about £400!!

We have been in contact with the Kenya Revenue Authority who are responsible for imports into Kenya (effectively our Customs equivalent). They have advised us that we do not need to pay duty on our Ambulance, again a huge saving.

We estimate that the vehicle we require will cost around £4,000. This is something we need to purchase ASAP in order for us to convert it before our departure to Africa in March 2014 so funding for this vehicle at the moment is a big ask!
